Apex Lite | The End of the "Snap Struggle"
Stop Fighting Your Boat. Just Drop and Go.
We don't have to tell you how annoying traditional snaps are. You know the drill: stretching cold vinyl, bruising your thumbs to get that final corner to seat, and prying them off with a flathead screwdriver when they get stuck.
The Apex Lite replaces the "struggle" with a satisfying thunk. It turns your frustrating manual snaps into a professional, self-aligning magnetic gear-lock system.
Why Upgrade to the Apex Lite?
- Direct Screw-In Replacement: Don't touch that drill. The Apex Lite is designed to screw directly into the existing factory holes left by your 10mm male snap studs.
- Magnetic "Seek & Find": Stop hunting for the alignment. The 20lb Neodymium core pulls the cushion into place for you. If you’re within an inch, the magnet takes over.
- The Hirth Gear-Lock: Once the magnet pulls it in, our patent-pending radial teeth (Hirth coupling) lock together. This creates a mechanical connection that handles high-speed winds and heavy wakes, but releases effortlessly with a simple vertical pull.
- Ultra-Low Profile: At just 8mm tall on the deck, it’s a foot-friendly, low-profile upgrade that stays out of the way.
- Self-Clearing Design: No "recessed cups" to trap salt, sand, or fish scales. The open-tooth design stays clean and engages every time, no matter how messy the day gets.
The Technical Details
- Installation: 60-second direct replacement (Unscrew old stud, screw in Apex Lite).
- Height: 8mm (Base) / 14mm (Total stacked height).
- Materials: UV-Stable, High-Heat ASA Polymer + 316 Stainless Steel Hardware.
- Pull Force: 20lb Magnetic Core on each piece.
Installation Note
Simply remove your existing male snap stud. Apply a dab of marine sealant to the Apex Lite threads, and screw it back into the original hole. Zero modifications. Zero frustration.
